Hanford, CA – Farmer and State Senator Andy Vidak (R-Hanford) announced today that the Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee has endorsed his candidacy for re-election to the California State Senate.

“Senator Vidak has been a staunch advocate for the business community and has worked tirelessly to help create and protect jobs in the Central Valley,” said Cindy Pollard, president and CEO of the Greater Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce. “We want to return Senator Vidak to Sacramento.”

The Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (BCCPAC), was started in 1999. Each election cycle, BCCPAC invites candidates to apply for a potential endorsement and then interviews candidates to determine their knowledge, understanding, and support for a strong economy and business issues.

In addition to the BCCPAC endorsement, Senator Vidak has earned support from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association and received a perfect 5 out of 5 record from the California Chamber of Commerce in opposing destructive “job killing” legislation while serving in the California State Senate.

Small businessman and farmer Andy Vidak currently represents the 16th Senate District in the California State Legislature and is campaigning to represent the newly redrawn 14th Senate District, which includes all or portions of Fresno, Kern, Kings and Tulare counties.
